  29. I don't know anything about XEmacs, but this is certainly not the case
  30. for the Emacs distributed by the FSF.  Since you just said "emacs", I
  31. assumed you were referring to the original (or at least both).

  33. If indeed this is the case with XEmacs, then that's a serious bug that
  34. should be solved; since Emacs works I see no good reason XEmacs won't.

  36. I've built and stripped all versions of Emacs 19, including pretests,
  37. and they've all worked fine afterwards.  And I used to strip Emacs 18
  38. with no problems as well :).  YAR to use The Real Thing, I guess.
